Features

Everything a micro business needs — and nothing it doesn't.

OBOSS is designed for business owners who have no time to learn software. Every feature solves a concrete everyday task: an invoice, a price, a quote, a reminder, an export for the accountant.

Annual Ledger

All invoices in one place, a monthly view of your business

Issued and received invoices broken down into lines, VAT rates, projects and categories. The business overview shows revenue, costs and profit by month, and the cash-flow view forecasts your balance on a chosen day — with an estimate of which customers usually pay late.

  • Lists of customers, suppliers, categories and projects
  • Other expenses: contributions, salaries, tax prepayments, loans, withdrawals
  • Recurring invoices (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Attachments on invoices (PDF, images) with search
  • Business overview and cash flow with CSV export
  • All years in one place, quick filters and bulk editing

Artificial intelligence

Photograph the invoice — OBOSS transcribes it

AI import reads an image, PDF or Word document and proposes an entry with supplier, dates, amounts and VAT rates. You review everything before saving. Received e-invoices (e-SLOG 2.0) import directly from XML, and larger volumes from a CSV table with a preview.

  • Images (JPG, PNG), PDF and .docx
  • Import of e-SLOG 2.0 received invoices
  • Bulk import from a table (CSV) with column mapping
  • Monthly import quota per plan

Bank statement

Let the statement settle payments, not you

Upload your bank statement (camt.053, CSV or PDF) and OBOSS proposes which open invoices were paid — with a confidence level and reasons. Confirm with one click; partial payments and remainders are handled.

  • camt.053/052/054 XML, CSV and PDF
  • Matching by amount, reference, customer and date
  • Protection against importing the same statement twice

Reminders and statements

Overdue invoices remind themselves

Manual or automatic customer reminders in the customer's language, with a PDF attachment. The statement of open items and the customer card show who owes you and how much on a chosen day.

  • Automatic reminders on a schedule, with a daily limit
  • Statement and customer card as PDF, sent by e-mail
  • Payment punctuality rating per customer

For your accountant

Excel export and a VAT return laid out like the form

Export invoices for any period to Excel or a ZIP with CSV and attachments and send them to your accountant by e-mail. VAT-registered businesses get a return laid out like the VAT form, broken down by rate and territory (domestic, EU, third countries), with warnings on unusual entries.

  • Excel (.xlsx) or ZIP with CSV and attachments
  • VAT return for a month or a quarter
  • Monthly backup of all data by e-mail

Price Calculator

A price that covers costs, pay and profit

For services it derives an hourly rate from monthly costs, target pay and the hours you can actually sell. For products it uses the cost per unit and target profit. For group courses it calculates a per-participant price, and for retail and hospitality a margin table for several products at once.

  • Service, product, group course, retail and hospitality
  • Business share: each calculation covers only its part of the costs
  • Required sales with a traffic light (green, amber, red)
  • Saved calculations that feed the simulation

Sales Simulation

When you break even — by month, not by guesswork

A twelve-month forecast from a saved calculator or manual input, with simple and advanced modes. Plan vs. actual compares planned sales with real invoices from the ledger, so you see deviations immediately.

  • Seasonal variation by month
  • Sales and profit chart
  • CSV export, several saved scenarios

Quotes and proforma invoices

From quote to paid invoice in one click

A quote or proforma invoice as PDF with your logo, stamp and signature, e-mailed to the customer in their language. The customer reviews it through a secret link and accepts or declines — without logging in. Once they pay, you mark the quote as paid and the revenue is recorded.

  • Separate numbering for quotes and proforma invoices
  • Service and customer lists, up to 50 lines
  • Discounts, mixed VAT rates, clauses for non-registered businesses
  • Customer response with a notification to the owner

Obossy

An AI assistant that knows your data

Obossy answers questions about the app and about your business: overdue invoices, biggest customers, costs by category, how to set up a recurring invoice. It has read-only access; it changes nothing without you.

  • Conversation in the interface language
  • Built-in F1 help on every page
  • Message quota per plan, conversations kept for 90 days

Company and users

A team on the same data, each with their own rights

The main user adds colleagues and assigns modules to them. Company details, currency, VAT rates, logo and signature live in one place and apply to every document.

  • Additional users per plan (1, 3 or 10)
  • Two-step login (TOTP) and sign-out from all devices
  • Six languages, several currencies, light and dark theme
  • Install as an app on your phone (PWA)

What OBOSS deliberately does not do

OBOSS does not issue tax invoices and does not perform fiscal verification. You issue invoices in your accounting or point-of-sale software and record them in OBOSS. That keeps it simple, affordable and usable across several countries.

A few small but important things

  • Sample data with one click — and removed with one click
  • Contextual help (F1) on every page
  • Consistent number and date formats in every language
  • Company activity log
  • Export of all data (JSON) and irreversible account deletion
  • Works on phone, tablet and desktop
